Fine-tuning
Training a general model further on your own examples.
Good for teaching a style, a format or a narrow specialized task. Frequently reached for when the actual problem was that the system could not see the right data, which fine-tuning does not fix. It also freezes a snapshot of the world, which then needs maintaining.
Why it matters
Often the expensive answer to a question that was really about access.
