# Public ARC task sources

This directory contains two authentic public **training** tasks, with all
published training demonstrations and the published test input and output.
Task JSON and license texts are unmodified, including their original lack of a
final newline. Exact commits, SHA-256 hashes and source links are recorded in
`SOURCES.json`.

- `0520fde7.json`: ARC-AGI-1, published by Francois Chollet in
  [fchollet/ARC-AGI](https://github.com/fchollet/ARC-AGI).
  The retained source license says `Copyright 2019 Francois Chollet.`

- `1478ab18.json`: ARC-AGI-2, published in

Both repositories distribute these task files under Apache-2.0. Neither
pinned repository contained a separate `NOTICE` file. This file records
Aligned's attribution and is not an upstream notice or a license amendment.

Aligned supplies the interface, hints, explanations and result wording around
the original task data. Those additions do not modify any task cells. ARC
Prize's web player, logos and site assets are not included. No affiliation or
endorsement is claimed.

These examples are separate from the Semi-Private ARC-AGI-3 tasks used for
Astra's reported result. Reader outcomes describe attempts on these public
puzzles, without an intelligence score or percentile.
